Medigap (Medicare Supplement)
There are two types of supplemental insurances that are available to Medicare Beneficiaries.
- Medicare Supplement
- Supplemental Health
Medicare Supplement or “Medigap” is only available to those on original Medicare plans. They are funded by smaller insurance companies who take on the extra costs not covered by traditional medicare. They are Med Supp plans A,B,C,D,F,G,K,L,M and N. Each of these plans vary and should be discussed with a Medicare Professional.
Supplemental Health Plans include Cancer Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Hospital Indemnity coverage, and Accidental injury protection coverage. These plans pay cash for treatments and positive diagnosis’s of the qualifying events and are available to Medicare and Medicare Advantage Beneficiaries.
